  • Can I use my existing chimney?

    You can use an existing chimney without any need of a liner if it has a concrete or clay segmented liner. Any other flue should have a liner installed. But all stoves work better with a liner connected all the way from the chimney pot to the stove.

  • How do I know what kW to choose from?

    Any house built before 2008 can have upto 5kW of stove without the need for air vents or an external air system. 

    Houses built after 2008 will need either air vents or direct air for any kW stove because they are sealed so much even a lit match could exhaust the oxygen supply!

  • How eco friendly are these?

    All our stoves on sale, and all modern stoves, are built to the latest Eco Design standards to be as efficient as possible and burn in a way that limits particulate matter from the burn being released into the atmosphere.

This project was particularly interesting as we were opening up the fireplace, resurfacing the wall with a smooth finish, installing a ................ wood burning stove, and finishing up the hearth in marble.

This project required the careful removal of a period fireplace, opening up the space and replacing the brickwork and leaving an 'open brick' finish, installing a ................ wood burning stove, and finishing up the hearth in slate.

Parkray Aspect 4 Compact installed in March, Cambridgeshire.  Liner fitted was a Midflex 904L steel - Midtherm Flue Systems Ltd.
